Strength Test

The Kapro Zeus™ 990, with its Computer Optimized Profile, retains its original tensile strength (the maximum stress a material can withstand) better than any level on the market. In-house testing in Kapro's state-of-the-art laboratory, has proven the 990 to be two to five times stronger than its competitors.

To test the strength of the Zeus™ 990, Kapro developed a Strength Test that simulates a 4 meter (13') fall, or a 6.5 kg (14.5lb) toolbox dropped from hand-height directly on the level.

With the specially designed Strength Tester, we simulated the effect of 20 falls on the straightness of the 990. Profile straightness directly affects the accuracy of the level. After 20 trials, Kapro's Zeus™ 990 showed absolutely no deviation. The Computer Optimized Profile remained perfectly level.
